Snow is still falling as I took this photography this morning out my window in Medford, NJ. The image is  a collection of three portrait orientation  photographs, merged in Photoshop and cropped square.

and here’s a Black and white conversion.

Makes a great B&W — good contrast! Combining the shots like that makes it feel like a larger format. Good thinking!

Thanks, I liked the little America Flag in the lower left corner. I didn’t even see it when shooting. I won’t reveal how mess the sky was, maybe the lens was dirty.

Nice image, Lou. I guess the three shots were at different EVs or different shutter speeds or variable neutral density filter settings?

Ralph: They were shot using Aperture priority, and all F16 one shutter speed changed so there was some blending done automatically by “Merge to Panorama in Photoshop”
It does an excellent job. I don’t the patience or skill to manually blend stuff.
Thanks for the comments.
FYI: For pixel peppers, I used the 14 bit mode on the camera for extra detail and bigger files.

The Black and white is a stronger photo. I do like the square composition!
